Part Time Website/Interactive Media Designer

Position Overview:

Anitron Media Technologies is seeking a highly-motivated and creative website/interactive media designer to join our dynamic and driven team. The job requires strong design and Flash skills to produce web sites and interactive CD/DVD-Rom Presentations.

There are strong opportunities to advance if a desire to learn and manage many different tasks at once is demonstrated.

Candidate Requirements:

Desired Experience: 2-3 years of industry experience. No particular college degree required.

Required Skills/Qualities:

• Ability to effectively research and design for a wide-range of markets.
• Ability to read and understand a sitemap document/proposal and convert it to a finished design that makes sense for the intended audience.
• Ability to work on multiple projects/design concurrently.
• Level-headed focus in a tight deadline-driven work environment.
• Highly motivated and willing to learn new techniques and approaches to website design and technologies.
• The limitations and possibilities of HTML layouts, including how a design should be sliced.
• Smart use of space and readability.
• A good eye for placing photography into a design.
• Typography skills.
• Know how to incorporate Flash into a layout.

Software Proficiency:

• Adobe Photoshop (absolutely required)
• Adobe Illustrator
• Flash (absolutely required)
• Intermediate-Level ActionScript 2 (desirable but not required)
• Flash Remoting experience (desirable but not required)
• HTML
• CSS (desirable but not required)
• Cold Fusion (desirable but not required)
• JavaScript (desirable but not required)
• Director & Lingo (desirable but not required)
• DVD-Authoring Software (desirable but not required)
• Adobe Premier or familiarity with basic video-editing software & techniques (desirable but not required)
• Adobe After Effects or familiarity with basic post-production software & techniques (desirable but not required)
• 3dmax/Maya or familiarity with basic 3d modeling & animation software & techniques (desirable but not required)

Other Details:

Reports To: Creative Director

Availability: Flexible for the right applicant.

Pay Structure: Every 2 weeks, compensation negotiable.

Location: Open to working with designers from any location remotely if qualifications are strong. Gainesville or Miami, Florida area preferred.
